A decade of long run relationship, finally came to an end. Don’t misunderstand, it actually signalled a new beginning. Yes, they are now officially “Married“. Today wasn’t just their ROM day, it was their 10th years anniversary too (If I’m not mistaken). How romantic and meaningful of this date will be! ROM on their 10th years anniversary? One word to describe, “Magnificent” !

The handsome groom Weng Hung and pretty bride Pei Ling are both my best friend for long. I’m glad to be here on this important day with them! The ceremony went quite fast which I felt abit unprofessional though; compared to those ROMs I attended before! Anyway, that doesn’t important, as long both of them did pen down on the papers, they are legally and officially married.

I’m here to congratulate them happy ROM and wishing them all the best! Cut short all those craps which I usually did in my previous blogrolls. Cause I knew not many really read through it. 😛 Now let me rewinded back their ROM with pictures I shot, not many cause did it in rush. May consider post more if applicable!

As pormised earlier, the album now is up for viewing. Did not designed any theme or story telling photo slide show as others. I know for such occasion shouldn’t be hard to design a theme into it. But again, I’m not pro and am not selling off my ideas or skills to impress you. Well, not quite yet, not until I wanted to get some freelance wedding photographing jobs. At the meantime, I’m just wanted to share on what I took on that day. With some minimum level adjustments, resizing and cropping on the photos, so please don’t boos if the pictures quality look bad to you.

All those shots were using my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 HSM lens, so the angles or distances were kinda fixed. It might look arkward because I don’t owned a TAMRON 17-50mm f/2.8 lens which I think it should be perfectly useful in this situation. It can help me on locating best shooting spot which I don’t have to walk to the front, otherwise it could have some candid effect.  Anyone willing to sponsor me?

Anyway, congratulation brother, wishes you have a happily ever after marriage! 大嫂,don’t bully my brother ya! LOL!

Gary’s ROM

On this day, 02/12/2008,  the day my buddy Gary’s ROM (Registry of Marriage) with his beloved Geni. Without doubt, I will help him to take some photos during the registration. As I did for my another buddy Victor earlier! Only differences were previously I used Nikon D60 whereas this time I’m using the Nikon D90. Hopefully those shots taken just now not to arkward compared to previous shots…

Still need times to filter out some unclear/unsharp photos before I can post it here. Basically this article was just to officially updating you all, Gary & Geni are Married! Please drop by this site occassionally to check out the updated photo album on this. If it yet to be released, you could just browse on other posts or kindly visit the ads shown if the promotions attracted you.

Once again, we congratulate them – Gary & Geni, Happy Marriage and wishing you guys love live marriage!

Victor & Maggie – ROM

1st of all, congratulation to Victor & Maggie. Wish you guys have a happily ever after marriage. Their ROM (Registry of Marriage) happened on 7 Oct 2008 which also 9 Sept in Chinese Calendar. It was a nice day for committing in marriage. 9 in chinese stand for long(duration) in chinese, so we wish their marriage also same as the meaning – long long…

He’s been quiet about his ROM until we asked. Not sure why he wanted to keep it secretly. It supposed a happy day to share, but we’re not really been invited until the day before his ROM. Somemore invited with just SMS, sound like “come only if you can, otherwise just ignore it”. Well, we did make ourself free to attend though.
Never had attended any ROM before, so I’m quite anxious what would it be, what are the things should and shouldn’t do. It could be my references for my own ROM someday! There were 5 couples waiting and to make their oaths. The procedures are very simple. Each pair just took about 10-15mins to finish off took the oaths, signing and photography session. Except our friend Vict&Mag pair. There were 5-6 cameras around, shooting at them. And I think probably every angles were well covered, some shooting videos, some photos and for me just photos. I could said that they were the most happening pair on that night! Because that, I couldnt have a good position to shoot at them, all the nice spots were well taken by others. I just could do my mighty best to shoot at the spot i stand.
So now stop all those craps, let’s rewind back the night with pictures. Picture does tell a story, listen and see yourself. Of cause I’m not going to post all photos I took, just some highlights of the night. For more pictures of that night, please acquire from Victor.
